I've found my song! Hey Julie by fountains of wayne, a nice happy pappy song with my name in it. It's like all those smses in one song for me to play endlessly in my head. I was dismayed that i wasn't called "sheila" for no reason but that To Sheila is such a nice song. And i regretted not being a Jane so i could be Janie with the Gun. When i was young my dad would play the BeeGee's Juliet and we all thought it was my name at first. I don't remember how i felt when i realised it was Juliet. Eileen isn't exactly the most beautiful of all names, but oh how i wanted to be eileen when i heard no doubt's Come On Eileen. But Hey Julie makes up for all that injustice. I'm glad i'm not called mandy/amanda, or stacey. Or roxanne, or jessica. Ashley was the first person to lengthen my name from Jul to Julie, and i'm eternally grateful to her for that.
