When i get sunburns my eyes turn red too. So today i was looking forward to lying on the beach the whole day with my new capris and rose-tinted shades, possibly with a coconut in hand, my girls around me gathered for some sharing and class bonding. I had forgotten that lower sec girls do not share the same notion of fun. There were Ice Breakers, awful words that passed away with new school entries, and games that involved Getting Wet, which did not agree very much with my white capris. My phone drowned too, in a fashion much more dramatic than the drowned phone of last March. It defiantly vibrated without end until i had to remove its very heart. Overall i think i had fun. I will go back to sentosa for the beach, this time to fulfill my own plans of coconuts and girltalk.

Dashing into shops with paki last night was thrilling. For what seemed like the first time in a long time, i was shopping for wearable things, and not food or kitchen appliances. And we talked about things completely unrelated to catering. That is why every company needs a staff retreat, take heed, take heed. Over the next few days, i will be sampling Vietnamese fare, getting a manicure and a pedicure, hopefully going for a massage, floating down the Mekong river, and picking up bobs and bits like any tourist worth her plane ticket. No scrubbing dishes or stuffing herbs into meat. So that when i come back i'll be all pampered and ready to raise catering prices.
