let lemons be angry

PUNK DAY was awesome. Thank you tutorial group 4 for making memories so early in the term. It was even better than Retro Day.

Our poor new Korean lecturer must have thought she'd gotten the class from hell. Girls and guys with smudged black eyeliner and nail polish, not to mention the leggy one in a miniskirt, fishnet stockings and pumps sitting right at the back. (It was so she wouldn't be so exposed, but who'd have known?) Later we explained that this was our special dress-up day and that we really looked normal on other days, to her relief. We had to go around taking self-portraits, but what we really learnt today was fashion photography. Diesel and CK, here i come. And all my self portraits turned out angsty no matter how i tried to look happy/thoughtful/young, thanks to the extra extra eyeliner. So today was one major fashion shoot, which made the lecturer ask me, "You're not making a calendar, are you? Why are there so many calendar photos?" Consider that one of the major insults to photographers. I'll be thinking hard about this self-portrait series of photos, especially how i'm going to pose in the photo i'm also taking.
