My father buys new fishes just about every day. What I thought would be a littlest pet shop kind of fish tank to stare at for relaxation has become a box of fluttering fishes, too many to count. Yesterday he bought three small goldfishes. Today a large goldfish joined the army. All the fishes do is ingest and digest. I'm trying very hard to churn up the same friendly warm feeling i had towards them at the start of all this.
All in all, God's been very good to me in the big and small things. Despite my alarming schedule, there have been enough lovely events to make me go to bed happy every night. I read today that sleeping more than 9 hours a day can age you by a few years. I also learnt today that if they forget to pack an item for takeaway at kfc, you can call them and they will send the item to you immediately.
And one more thing that I learnt this day: sometimes we let ourselves be naive because we know the moment will pass. Precious naivete, such a rare treat.
