My Formidable/funny Korean Friend.

This is Namgung Joeun. In jc she was feared by one and all because of her forthrightness and spirit that bent to no-one. Nobody dared to offend namgung joeun because it was said she secretly ruled the world. Furthermore, her grandfather owns a mountain in Korea. In an image overhaul, here she sits demurely and presentably by the sea, with a sweet smile on her naturally youthful face. I still suspect she bends to nobody but not in a totalitarian manner. I take it upon myself to boast further about her tall physique and distinct walk. Her biggest contribution to mankind (or to me) is her bone-dry honesty, which translates into comedy.

This is Joeun's brother, in what looks like a Pocari Sweat ad. He is "the tall and sneering type". Her mother is also infinitely interesting. Together they make a very tv-worthy family. Korean dramas don't have heroines like Joeun, because she doesn't act cute or saintly. And the "sassy" tv heroines act out their sassiness by wolfing down rice and leaving crumbs over their face, or beating up robbers, or playing pranks on reckless boys, all of which are more or less cutesy tough acts.

So if you want to meet the real deal, Namgung Joeun is it, mountain and all.
