The school wants to put up a pretty show next tuesday, to prove to the Judges that oh yes, rjc does have a fabulous art scene, and that the school cheers on their artists to achieve great things. And so they have assigned us servants and such to clean up our art room the whole of tomorrow. And they are making us fix up the installation they couldn't be bothered to protect just a week ago. Never mind that all the strings were cut, never mind that we'll have to stay back till Late this week, Nevermind that we might have obeyed them and taken the thing down last week. They want to impress, and without us they realise they'll lose this little competition of sorts. How nice of you all, to turn around and realise you do need us and our annoying little project after all. How astute of you to observe that rjc does lack that art factor, and that you need it soon and very soon. Maybe next year when some other mysterious Judges come along and assess you as a school you'll realise that closing down the Art Programme was a very silly thing to do, very silly indeed. For you'll be a very unrounded school then, won't you. Oh say to us anything you like. So if you sincerely regret that Art should be discontinued as a subject, who's the one who made the decision then? Very often now i think that it's a blessing that you just let mr liew leave us without a replacement, because we get to go to njc and soak in their art culture. But what a way to end this chapter. No art show for our batch, nothing to even mark its end. We became ghosts before we died.
