Every muscle is aching but i think it's worth it.
We put up our signage system last night, a trail of ants marching to the vending machine, singing a little poem about their frantic and arduous journey to find food. At about 1 am we were still lightheadedly pasting "march"es letter by letter and starting to spout very airy and reflex sentences. I left feeling painful and dusty.

But oh soon hwa hugged the pillar with the queen ant today. That, by anybody's standards, is an astonishing accomplishment. I like the school like this, filled with beautiful type and intelligent graphics. And I like us working through the night in little teams, no longer hidden away in our individual holes while film and animation get all the night life. After this project, vis comm is not boring, not at all. :) Photos will be up when i get them. Or you may walk the route yourself if you're in singapore with nothing to do.

Today we saw the most amazing vespa in the adm carpark. It had fake grass for leg rests and handlebars, painted graphics that looked like a marriage between ben and jerry's and mambo (cow prints, blue skies, amateur animals), a red-and-white stand, and an old-fashioned garang guni horn. When the rider was out of sight, we had to go try that horn. But you know how loud garang guni horns are. They horn at the bottom of the block and you hear it and bring your old things down. It was Loud. We ran off in three directions, and i ducked behind a pillar before I knew what i was doing.

My second year of school will be over in no time at all. I've only half a project left to contend with, and three papers that i haven't had the presence of mind to worry about yet. I have loved living in the viscomm lab, floating in painting class with the rolling stones and sinead o'connor and the beatles and the pretenders, dying on tuesday nights, and taming my can of spray mount. I get the hang of this viscomm thing now, and I guess that was what this second year of uni was for.

Many things are still too faraway to make out, but i suppose this is what it means to wait on Him. At least for the next hour, even for the next few days, I know what His will is for me.
