Mongolia, Mongolia, and Beijing. The best memories of these places involve playing with baby livestock.
Speaking of which, this week has been all about the little ones. Lena and I are doing a three-day art camp for 15 loved and pampered children. Devoted parenting makes a difference; these children sit still and think quietly and talk sweetly. But I am very tired from assembling 16 theatre sets into the early morning, and doing all the background work to make today's two hours run like butter. My body cries for a 9 pm bedtime tonight.
Yesterday was Everybody's Birthday, as we finally had our (drive-in) picnic and played the parts of 22-year-olds. Hey girls, we get happier with every year that passes. I can see what's coming, we sing; we can sort of see what's coming and it's absolutely flammable. Let's do this dancing in cars thing again.
