What do you do when you don't want to go for any more parties? And when friends and all are fine and dandy but you just don't feel like meeting them for another week?

Let's be obstinate. All I want to do is continue cutting out hearts from magazines, and earn money to buy Christmas presents. We'll see if this unsociable spell breaks itself soon, or if I'm just growing into new shoes. Into meet-me-at-the-cafe-and-we'll-read-together kind of shoes. With each day that passes I want more urgently to be a sore thumb. I need to set myself apart like I did in kindergarten, and pass up communal reading time for alone time in the principal's office. Of my own choice.

Or maybe I'm just clearing out heart space so I can be a vacant room for the kids next week. This is the last day before camp. Preparation is of great necessity.
