I am addicted to watching cooking videos on youtube, in particular this very helpful series called "Cooking with Dog". The voiceover is apparently supposed to be the dog talking. Cooking with Dog just means that the dog sits there and watches while the mother figure cooks. When the stove is turned on the dog leans ever slightly to the side to avoid it, but never leaves his spot.

I tried the ichigo daifuku recipe and it's pretty easy to make. Mine turn out as huge ugly lumps, nothing like store-bought cute daifuku, but they taste like it and hopefully will look more and more palatable.

I love it when Francis (the dog) keeps saying "Let's make_____." and "Be careful not to cut your hands."

I love Jacques Torres too. I think it's the accents of these hosts that get me. Like Francis the dog, Jacques is very sincere and helpful, and very funny. "You can make that at home, then put them into a little bag like that, and I guarantee that your friend going to love you even more."
