Seems like nobody likes their new job. Bong used to complain to me about primary school classmates; the same game is played now but with office characters. They're just as catty, just as colorful.
I like my job scope, at least. I've settled into a routine of making a milkless cup of tea and eating whatever breakfast I managed to buy (soyjoy raisin-almond is intoxicatingly heady) and doing some work while blog surfing.
But I have ideas of a dream studio.
This ad agency gave each worker $300 to do up his own cubicle. Still a little too corporate for my liking. But fun.

Perfect: high ceiling for many wall ornaments, concrete floor that can take paint spills.

Vandercook letterpress from 1905, back in stationery fashion. I've also been adoringly poring over photos of artists' homes with these delicious contraptions in corners of their homes, and wondering where I can fit one in mine. (And where to get one in Singapore.)

love: the fridge behind the chair

a larger press studio, all that space to lug stuff around and cut things up!

When I'm out of this job I will dedicate myself to decluttering my room and turning it into my own studio. Right now it's halfway there, just too many makeup utensils scattered over my cutting mat, and clothes everywhere.
Photos of my office studio next!
