The previous post was about the brown eyed girls coming to dempsey, by the way. I wasn't even sure if I'd photographed the right people until I confirmed with my korean friend (hello fair ruler!)
I've been sitting as an observer in long conversations these days, and I can now split my immediate circle into polar opposites. That is good, far better than only mixing with one kind of people who think the same way.
There are those who laugh at people's grammar, and those who hate highly educated girls. There are those who have something against people from a certain country, and there are those from that very country. There are those who planned to break their scholarship bond though they could well afford their own education, and there are those who worked every day to pay their school fees. There are those who think poorly of Asian music, and there are those who know nothing about English songs. There are those who are snobbish though they are not rich, and there are those who have lots of wealth and freely give it away. There are those who deny God, and there are those who love God.
And all of them are or were my good friends. They all have flaws in their extreme views, yet they also all have reason. To remain in harmony on the same planet, they exist without looking each other in the eye as they walk by.
