My mother wrote some deceiving captions for this facebook album of hers. Don't believe them--two cats at home are more than enough for me!

But this little joke is a welcome addition to the store. I poke around the Tawandang chairs to look for her, yank her out yawning, and roll her into balls on my lap. She hops around and into the store, a bell tinkling on her oversized collar. Sometimes her front leg gets stuck in the collar like a sling. My colleague takes a branch and teases her to dash to and fro, and we warn him that our boss might come any moment and catch him playing. She mews with barely a squeak and I wonder if she is the first mute cat I've met.

I need nature to work happily. Big open windows, natural light, and animals. I should really consider working in another field, or at least taking my laptop out into the verandah.
