You know what I do now?
I think somehow that ET (my first cat) has died. And that every moment now is extra time given.
So I bury my nose into her forehead and blow paths into her belly fur.
She has slept on my bed most nights, for fifteen years. And on every one of those nights, I have cuddled her so tight that she wheezes, and I have told her, "I'll always always love you. You'll always be my first cat."
I have this unsettling fear that she'll be gone soon. Humans could go soon too, but old cats are more likely to.
I will take more photos and videos of her, this most talkative cat who understands me when I tell her I'm leaving the house soon.
