Balloon work by Daisy Balloon.(click for site).
I'm not afraid of balloons, whether bursting them or blowing them, but imagining the painful rubber squeaks that would accompany work like this?
And when I think of balloon art, I often think of lumpy animals or swollen "flower bouquets" that don't come close to art.
But look at that "RICH"! Fluid balloon typography! Tiny balloons, unblown balloons. Suddenly balloons aren't all just mindless identical air pockets as they often turn out to be, but have rhythm and grace.
And I hate balloon dresses for pretending to be fashion, but Daisy Balloon manages to execute balloon dresses with the right amount of balloon perkiness while not forgetting the fluidity needed for grace.
