Somebody please share my tedious workload with me! It'll take two days at most; i'll pay you $30 out of the $50 i'm getting to do it. Don't leave me to die here.
So yesterday was a very good public holiday. Compared to sitting in this office munching corn crispbread and faced with the worst task on earth, it was wonderland. I was in the sunniest of moods and all ready to pounce onto sandy shores, but there were none nearby. The only damper was the ikea table that arrived without legs (apparently legs are sold separately), but in perspective it's just very funny.
i have got to stop smiling
it gives the wrong impression now
i love you all the same
To end off my wonderful public holiday, i learnt something: God wants to make us great! But we have to "go forth" first. That's news; i'd always imagined that in God's best of plans i'd be a humble wanderer. But it's true as i read on (i'm never going to make the whole Bible in one year). Look how great God made Joseph, look how great God made Abraham. And look at Queen Esther. Hmm.
Now some Thai/Vietnamese version of slow J-pop is playing on the office sound system and i have no idea how to stop it. The wilderness people put it on and all went out for lunch, leaving me the only listener.
