Of new classes:
My classmates introduced me to our new taiwanese doll-professor like this: (in Chinese) "The things she draws are weird...full of darkness and demons."

They were really enthusiastic about it, like it's a compliment. But really, it's not true at all. I'm dizzy in love with lollipop colours, especially the neon accessories of fall/winter. I never watch horror movies or anything to do with demons, and I only draw portraits and fashion. Still, their interpretation of me makes me laugh, the way i laugh at people who say i scare them.

I love all my classes this semester. It's not too early to tell. :)

Of parties:
There are too many people born or leaving this month! I haven't been home at night in a long time.My father just got his very belated birthday present, a Mika album that he strangely really loves and has always wanted. Everybody else isn't forgotten, just on the waiting list.

Of pretty things:
Dawn and I had a very satisfactory photoshoot at arab street, taking msn-worthy pics and other things. She also brought from cambodia woven scarves and headbands, which will find their way into my wardrobe soon. And dear world-traveller manda brought for me an art-deco-ish tile from laos.

I love iwannagohome! It's opened by the same people who brought us clothes-candystore zara, correct me if i heard wrong. If I had money, mountainloads of it, i'd fill my house with vases and chairs from this shop. It confirms my crazy love for household items, and I'm very sure about wanting to sell teapots and lamps now. I understand the aesthetic behind Muji, much like cold milk or snow, but i'd much rather fill my house with wildly embellished things. Still, some of their items are a bit too wildly out of reach. Like candles that go for more than $100 each for the smallest size. Pretty candles, but still melt-into-wax candles.

Of the past:
Paki and i read through an old notebook that we kept from sec 2 to j1, and it utterly disgusts us. We thought we were very insightful and smart then, which is what's horrible about it. I had an annoying writing style, which included an overuse of "dontcha think so?" and a bubbliness that makes me want to go up to myself and slap myself across the street. Paki was just funny, with her "I think I actually almost love horses now!" and "what if osama bin laden wasn't the mastermind?"

Haha.
