Biennale!

Paolo and his volunteers! Annette (in pink) helps her god-daughter design jewelry at BeadsHub, used to be an artist, and practically ran the show on Sunday. Not caring that Paolo's this accomplished Italian artist, she was always saying things like "Paolo, this is not impressive." "Paolo you must go back and sleep." "Paolo what do you want to eat? I'll treat you to dinner."

Paolo took one look at this photo and said "I look gross! No!"
Annette took one look at this photo and said "Yucks!"

They really are the perfect match.

The second day I helped, Annette wasn't there. Paolo called her in the middle of the day and said "I miss you so much!" Annette replied, "I miss you too. My knees are aching so much."

He laid out all this white concrete because Annette suggested he should do it.

Look at how vain he is. All the volunteers added him on facebook and tagged him.

Sunday ends my affair with oblivion. The start of the biennale means that I don't have to help out anymore, which means I probably should attend classes again.

Anyway, all of you should go to this exhibit on Tuesday night, at the old warrant officers building at South Beach Road, opposite Raffles Hotel. There are 12,000 bars of soap and as you now know, a woman named Annette behind the look of it.
