There are many things I don't like about the world today.

1. plastic surgery as the norm

2. American Apparel ads

3. Luxury goods

4. the YOG mascots

5. how everything is "vintage"

6. liberals projecting their ideals on non-liberals

7. Jayden Smith kissing that older, taller chinese girl in the Karate Kid

8. People calling in the AVA to catch sterilized cats

9. Not knowing our neighbours

10. MRTs built without seats

But there is plenty I like about the world. And starting today, I'll do a weekly dislike/like post. There must be the calling out of the bad, to talk about it, to change it. But there also must be the opposite, the celebrating of the good, the giving thanks.

So, I really like:

1. My Little Pony blonde hair being socially acceptable

2. Light rain I can walk in

3. colorful french manicures

4. the world coming together over soccer

5. that spunky bad kid in the Karate Kid

6. the explosion of photography as a hobby

7. creative non-packaged weddings

9. commuters getting shifty and guilty and eventually giving up their seats for the elderly

10. having a ticket booked for portland, oregon!
