The last rally. 5:30 pm and the front rows were camped out.
This poster sent shivers down my spine. Thankfully the pro-George sentiments are higher on a whole.
Hasn't started yet, but everyone is watching the crowd grow.
Alas, no photos of myself on my own camera. K was too busy waving his flag at the front to mind me as I walked up and down the stadium by myself, queuing for the loo and looking for merchandise to buy. Later we were all caught on camera in a photo on Facebook that I can't right click and save.
They're here. Annmarie and I were only watching Chen Show Mao as he fretted over his speech on his lap.
I videoed the first part of his speech, but I'm not sharing it. The best part was when he deep-bowed about nine times, flopping his intellectual hair back and forth.
This party animal's taking a breather--he was dancing with one flag in each hand most of the night.
In the midst of the electric crowd, there was also a great calm patience and pockets of contentment. Nobody complained about anything.
The only problem about being in the front is I couldn't get a good photograph of the 35,000 pledge-takers that night.
Well done, Workers' Party. I'm proud to have heroes like you to root for.
