So many things happen when you're in China and unable to log onto blogger, facebook and twitter. These things will come with more detailed posts each, but nonetheless here's a smattering of photos of the last two very exciting weeks:
3 Things that Shanghai was to me:
Chaotic Singaporean children;
M50, Moganshan Road, art district, where my mother and I cried at the same painting and I found enlightenment. More about this later;
And Taikang lu, or Tianzifang, which made me believe that I could stay in shanghai for a while;
Back in Singapore to work, but managed to get a pass to Blueprint, major fashion tradeshow, so I could catch my high-flying friend aimei do a show:
Fashion people all have this supremely bored look at runway shows. I felt self-conscious even leaning forward slightly to take photographs.
Met Susie Bubble! Behold my geeky excited grin. I was only brave enough to get a photo with her because of how affable she sounds on her blog, and she was. And during the shows? she was leaning forward excitedly too, trying to take photographs.
Too many China photographs to edit; but the social media addict in me won't let me off.
